Create products from donor vehicles with OEM part numbers

Built on top of Partly’s OEM Data Standardisation Framework, the Partly Recycled Parts Ingest App allows the user to create products against the exact OEM part number that any given vehicle contains.

Partly achieves this by deeply understanding the structure and nuances of each OEM catalogue, allowing a first-class user experience regardless of the completeness or quality of the original data sources.

Benefits

Accurate OEM information against inventory items is the building block needed to supercharge any dismantling business, but the immediate improvement is driven by knowing exactly what inventory items are contained in a dismantler’s warehouse, or on a donor vehicle.

Partly does the heavy lifting of standardising and presenting this information in a user-friendly manner, allowing products to be published to the Partly PIM, or to an external inventory management system.

Features

  • OEM Data standardised and restructured to the Partly Data Standard to enable a consistent and intuitive user experience across makes.
  • Supports custom groupings of parts into sellable units. Dismantlers can dismantle vehicles in any way they like, and still have a record of the exact OEM part numbers in a grouping; from a nose cut to a headlight sensor.
  • Enables the creation of products, with price and grade, while they are stored on other assemblies. For example, a dismantler can specify a price for a door assembly and for the complete door. This gives the repairer the option to either purchase the door including the handle, just the handle, or the entire door excluding the handle.
  • Pricing is propagated from the last price given in the system. Once a part has been priced, the next time a vehicle has been dismantled with the same part, the price does not need to be entered again.
  • Products can be created with any number of OEM Part numbers. If an item taken of a vehicle is best represented by multiple part numbers, that information will be recorded.
  • Intuitive UX for removing damaged parts from a vehicle
  • Tag printing facilitates a strong connection between the representation of items in a dismantler’s inventory software, and the reality in the warehouse.
